OCTOBER REVOLUTION: CHILE AWOKE
Yesterday I was talking with a friend about our emotions in the last two months, and both are agreeing that this have been weeks of multiple emotions. The first week I felt all so unreal, all the people in the streets, children’s, older adults, massive manifestation and all nights the cacerolazos. I felt very distressed in those days, for me was so impact saw military in Plaza Maipu, because in the last years most of the protests were in downtown, but now the protests are in our territories. My dad has been living in Maipu 40 years and he told me that since dictatorship that he didn’t see protests in Maipu with barricades and brutal police repression. About the organization in Maipu, we have many territorial assemblies of different neighbourhoods. Also, the organization of secondaries students and the feminist’s organization.
