CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME!!
Hello! In the blog of today I will talk about changes that in my opinion are necessary to do in the study programme. I’m studying my second year on the career of social work, I still do not have the “research nuclei” (investigation and practice) but I will talk about my experience in this one year and a half in the career <3
First, about the curriculum, I have liked most of the subject because I have always liked social science, and for this reason I have enjoyed with the classes (sometimes I get distracted but the content of the classes and teachers, in general, caught completely my attention!)
In my opinion these almost three semesters of career have had a
suitable workload. However, when we talk with students of third year or fourth year, they look much stressed, principally for the “research nuclei”. We know that exist problems of organization in the “research nuclei” and in my opinion is because the career is in process of formation (social work reopened five years ago in the university).
Also, in my opinion and having spoken with some friends, I think that many careers could have a shorter length of studies. I think that to give an opinion about the length of social work in this university I am not prepared yet. I need more time to know it!
From my point of view, the university has a good infrastructure. The classrooms of the faculty are small but is because were built many years ago! About use of technology I think that many teachers tries to include technology in their teaching methods. I think that include technology in educational spaces is a long process!
In general I don’t want change fundamental things of the career, only details or little settings. I think that the career must heard students in the “research nuclei” and make a better organization
