MY FUTURE JOB!
HELLO! If when you go to school everyone asks you what you want to study, now in the university everyone asks you what job you want to get. Well, this blog is about my future job! First, I want to say that I’m not 100% sure about what kind of job I want, but I will talk about the ideas that I have for now.
I study Social Work, and I imagine a job that allows me to develop management skills because, in my opinion, I’m good with the organizing. But also, I really like a job that I could work with communities in self-management projects.
I can’t choose between outdoor or indoor kind of job, so I think that a good job for me must be with a balance between both. About travel, I don’t have in my main characteristics a job with permanent travel, but if I get a job with travel, I happily accept.
As I mentioned before, I’d like work with communities or also, in the health area, an hospital for example. But also, I have in mind to job in a government office, because I think that a critical Social Work must be present where public politics are created.
I don´t have a clean idea about a major, but if I do it, I think that I will doing a major of community health (I don't know if this exist) or a major about the philosophy ideas in the fundamentals of Social Work.
About other aspects, I think that a good job, in any kind, must have a nice ambient with the other persons.
About the locality, if I can, I would like a job in the same area that I live. But, in conclusion, I hope to get a job that it allows me to learn new things and contribute to a better society with more social justice.
